Just outside of the town of Amalfi, Villa Amalfitana offers spectacular, azure sea views from three levels of spacious terraces covered by violet bougainvillea pergolas. Located along one of the most enchanting spots of the renowned Amalfi Coast, Villa Amalfitana's two-story main villa and separate dependence unit are nestled amidst vibrant green olive groves, pine trees, and other Meditarreanean plants cascading down to the sea. The many outdoor areas offer wonderful opportunities for relaxing in complete privacy, making it an ideal place for a family reunion or getaway with friends.

The magnificent main villa features a spacious sitting room and sliding iron shutters opening to the terrace with built-in seating, wicker chairs and open sea views. Separate dining area and French windows to the terrace furnished with ceramic table. Comfortable leather sofas and chairs rest upon terracotta floors with eye-catching zodiac shaped inserts.

Two restaurants are within walking distance of the villa and the town centre of nearby Amalfi provides additional dining, entertainment, shopping and essentials. The SITA bus stop is a few steps from the villa gate. Positano, as well as Capri, Ischia and Salerno, is also accessible from Amalfi by boat or hydrofoil. From Positano, you can also enjoy a trip to Napoli or Sorrento by boat or hydrofoil.

What to do along the Amalfi Coast?

The Orcia valley lies in the southern part of the province of Siena, between the slopes of Mount Amiata and the hills that descend toward the Chiana valley, between the fortress of Radicofani and that of Montalcino. This area features well-known architectural and artistic sites such as Pienza, Montalcino (famous for its Brunello wine), and the medieval thermal baths of Bagno Vignoni. Perfect for scenic drives, the area is brimming with lovely vista views ranging from the picture-perfect hills and valleys to the clay slopes dotted with cypress trees and white roads that wind away to poderi (farming estates), grain towers and ancient monasteries.

In addition to lovely beaches, Positano offers an abundance of cafes, shops, art galleries and restaurants. A scenic drive along the coastal road (SS145) takes visitors to Praiano, Amalfi and the spellbinding up-hill town of Ravello, with its incomparable belvedere.
